If you look in the store, you can find a small egg pan, and a small saucepan that fits exactly on the element. With these, you can cook an egg, warm up some precooked sausage or bacon, or a small piece of ham. Use the saucepan to heat any kind of canned food like ravioli or chili, and the pot itself is good for soup or hot dogs. Also, you can lay a slice of bread on the element for toast. I would recommend a good Bunn coffeemaker, the better the coffeemaker, the better you can cook with it. This is a great thing to do if you are in a hotel room or a dorm that you’re really not allowed to cook in. There’s lots of ideas here to experiment with.
