I had no idea you guys have less options! All these companies are Canadian aren’t they!?
Where did you find those chocolate chips
I am looking at the thumbs up thumbs down and honestly… Why would anyone Thumbs down… it just seems like a dick move…. Your great. I love your videos!!
Is it just me but does our lovely darling EdgyVeg Queen remind me of Jessie from New Girl?
Let me know if you want to start mule-I gotta beyond the meat products across the boarder!!!
I need a 'Shop With Me' video pronto.
And you should try to get the spicy Boca "chicken" patties on your next us haul
Field Roast is the best on the market (for Canadians)… actually no. It is the best in all the land. Wish more of their products were available to us.
I love Wegmans!!!!
Love that mustard! We save the glass and top too. Also, you're the first Candice I've seen that spells it the same way I do!
I know this is an old video but we have a new vegan donut place called fry babies! You guys should do a review!
Yay Buffalo! I live there
Your deli slices might say vegetarian and not vegan because of the red wine ingredient. Some wines use animal gelatin as a filtering agent. I don't know if someone said this already as I did not read all the comments
Ahhh I need all of this!! 😩 gotta move to the US real quick
Some wines aren't vegan as they may use animal products in the filtering process
Veganaise is soooo creamy… I need to try the garlic one!
When are you going to cook something with the Soy Curls?
nut
Just about my favorite videos… those and tastes test.. love them
The part where you speak german is so funny 😀 I'm from Germany and it sounds so odd to me haha
Because you say you're a fan of strong mustard, go check out Kozkik's. They've got a stand in the St Lawrence Market.
WHAT!?!? that AMAZING!!! ONLY 6$!!!i spend 5 dollars too OMG amazon ordering those RIGHT NOW!!!!!
I wish you were my mum or something so you can make me food not to be sexist but please bring me food
I know this is an older video and you probably won't see this but the off-brand Selection's semi-sweet chocolate chips only "may contain milk" but it isn't actually listed! I get mine at Food Basics, they're a lot cheaper than the ones that are marketed as vegan
Hey Candice! Just started watching your videos! Amazing! Love Soy Curls – Did a Korean Bulgogi dish! Was amazing! Planning a trip down to Buffalo for a vegan haul. You'd think Toronto would have a lot more items that don't cost an arm and leg! Did you have any trouble at customs when coming back?
Where do the live
lol.she accidentally said my name
I've wanted to try Miyoko's so bad!! I hate that they don't sell it in Canada.
Great to see the range of stuff you guys have in the states and Canada. We live in Wales, UK and the choice is limited to say the least! We are finally able to get some Follow Your Heart products and some Tofurky. I REALLY wish Field Roast and Beyond Meat could make it to our little country. Great video as always. Thank you! Or, Diolch! As we say in Wales!
Shout out to any vegans who are allergic to soy and gluten! I'm wondering if it is even possible to be a preservative-free whole foods vegan on a budget, with limited cooking time (because you work literally 80 hours a week not including taking care of your family and household), and having severe allergies to soy and gluten?
I am an omnivore but limit my animal products to when I feel I need them. I'm also so sensitive to too many carbs and any processed foods. I limit myself to under 150 because it just doesn't matter if I eat veggies, or legumes. Too many carbs cause my IBS to act up. I eat an adventurous diet that makes me feel best consisting of veggies, unprocessed protein sources in their pure unadulterated forms which is the only things that I can eat without my gut hating me which includes–fish, beef, chicken, whey, eggs–in limited amounts I can consume plant based proteins like nuts…too many wreck my digestion :'( and I'm so physically active I need a ton of protein to function without losing mass and cramping up. And on the plus side I only shop local so transportation costs to the environment are minimal and I can support local family owned farms.
That rant aside I have been trying for environmental sustainability reasons to limit my animal protein but it seems every alternative bothers my stomach. Everything Candice showed would literally have in bed just in pain unable to go to work. I have shitty healthcare too so I'm really not down with spending 1000's of dollars I don't have to see if I can't 'fix' my IBS and allergies. I just want to continue to eat unadulterated preservative free healthy foods but more plant based and feel great like I do when I just stay away from stuff that bothers me. Any suggestions? I envy all of you who can eat whatever you want and have oodles of time to cook. I have 2 hours a week so I just cook a huge batch of something to take to work with me so I have at least one well prepared meal a day.
I love #miyokos I don't know how she does it but it's great tasting
you will LOVE the soy curls! I make vegan "pulled pork" bbq with them and they're fab!
I'm planning on going to college in Rochester next year. That's kinda close!
How much did it cost? $180?
No Senf on Schnitzel please. I think you get crucified for that here in Austria 😀 But I can totally understand your mustard preferences especially when it comes to Brats 🙂
I bought a cheese called Go Veggie cheese without looking at the ingredients, assuming that cheese with veggie in the title made it vegan cheese. I made a grilled cheese, but into it and nearly vomited because I could immediately tell it was dairy cheese (ya know how dairy cheese leaves that gross snot taste in your mouth) It was so gross. But yea, I am with you on wrongly assuming that veggie means VEGGIE
I'll try that field burger !
you're missing your eyeglasses. you're incomplete without them. tons of places out there to get fashion eyewear.
So Candice, after watching this video I went out and bought a package of the Field Roast burgers and… WOW!!! Hands down the best veggie burgers we've ever had!!! Thanks for the review, now we're hooked!!! 😉 <3
What was the cost of your haul CA?
My husband is a meat eater but loves vegan mayo. I made a stir fry the other day and he ate some. I was like you like the tofu babe? He says tofu? I thought it was some kinda weird chicken. Lmbo!
Wow! So many good products. Did you have to pay duty on these?
I'm not the first comment….. ok, I lost my thought. Anyway I have tried the cereal and it's super good. As for the other products, I will will be looking for them.
how do you cook the beyond meat chicken? seasoning/baking/fryng? my husband said they are a little bland compared to other vegan meats 🙁
Soy Curls are killer,I make a not chicken chicken stew with it and it rocks
