  1. Happy St. Paddy's Day Chef! Just tried this and made a disastrous mistake. As a baker, I immediately converted your recipe from cups to grams. (at 120g/cup). WAY to wet! My fault. Or maybe that's what I get for trusting a guy whose name ends in a vowel to give me an Irish recipe! 😉 Here's what an Irishwoman had to say…

1lb (450g/4 cups) white flour, preferably unbleached

    1 teaspoon salt

    1 teaspoon bread soda

    sour milk or buttermilk to mix – 12-14fl oz (350-400ml/1 1/2 – 1 3/4 cups) approx.

First fully preheat your oven to 230ºC / 450ºF / Gas Mark 8.

  2. Msde a Dublin Coddle to go with the Soda Bread.
Your soda bread recipe was outstanding. Love the sugar on top . The bread was a hit. A definite repeater.

  3. I know it might be obvious, but you really should clarify whether or not you're using centigrade or farenheit in video and description. I just came upon this channel and love it. However on some older videos where temps aren't too obvious, there is no clarification.

Also, measurement of weight in BOTH description and video would help a ton.
