I've been had the ingredients for this recipe for a couple of months now, so I finally decided to make it and baby when I tell you this tastes good, I use two different types of Parmesan cheese edit my own extra seasonings like accent garlic powder garlic onion powder and baby this recipe is the bomb because I live alone and I made a lot I'm going to individually put them in Ziploc bags and freeze them for side dishes later

  3. Please stop misleading your audience. Risotto is best prepared using Carnaroli Rice.

    Arborio rice is highly recommended, but it is best to stick to Carnaroli, especially if you are a beginner, because Carnaroli offers the least risk of getting overcooked, and also has a higher nutritional value and starch content than Arborio, thus it makes for a more creamier Risotto.

    Plus, it is also called the β€œKing of Italian Rice”. There is a reason why it is always insisted upon for preparing a Risotto at high end restaurants.

  4. Actually risotto is a pretty complicated dish. However for home cooks please try it. I don't do all of the things asked here. For example, I never heat my stock, but that is due to me knowing how the rice will react. The biggest challenge is knowing when to bring it off the heat. At Al dente, or better yet slightly less, remove from heat, add butter cream or other herbs and parma. It will continue to cook!, That is your challenge, making sure the resting risotto doesn't over thicken from sitting…
