  1. As a 11 year old my parents say “your old enough how to cook” or “Back in my day I had to make full on meals” so I decided on the most simple thing rice

  2. White rice is far superior to brown rice in my opinion for the simple fact that the brown rice has soo many more gut disrupting lectins and lectin proteins, there is a reason for pretty much all of their history that Asian cultures have used white rice, not brown rice, they knew something and they got rid of the hulls and that got rid of the gut irritation. 👍

  3. I have struggled so much with making rice lol
I have followed different instructions, but a lot of them is about 'feeling'. Or listening to your ancestors. I'm Nordic, my ancestors can preserve meat and fish like no other. But they don't have a lot of opinions on rice. So getting specific instructions with measurements and time – I feel like this is something I can actually follow, memorize, and get it right every time.

  4. I'm going to be honest, I tried cooking rice once, and I ended up burning it. That was 4 years ago. On this very day, 12 June 2024, I decided to cook rice again and followed your steps carefully. I want to personally thank you from the deepest part of my heart! Today, I, a 23 year old managed to cook rice perfectly for the first time in my entire life! I feel like I achieved the most important thing in life, cooking rice… I couldn't have done it without you! thank you so much! 😂

  5. I am embarrassed to say i had to watch this video to relearn how to make rice. Granted i have make it in the past with no issues. I am 50 years old and recently my father past away (stating this not for sympathy). However, i feel like now i have to learn how to cook again.
