Another year, another birthday, so I figured why not celebrate by making my favorite childhood birthday cake, the funfetti cake.

  1. Just made this cake and it turned out perfect! I live in high altitude and had to reduce both the baking soda and baking powder to 1/2 Tsp each. If you don’t your cake will sink at high altitude.

Also turned around and made another one dairy free. Dairy free butter and unsweetened coconut milk+ lemon juice were the perfect substitutes!

Both cakes turned out perfectly moist and delicious!

Thank you chef for the fantastic recipe! It truly was delicious!

  2. Hi, Billy. I am from Romania. It is a European country. You are a new discovery for me and in a week I made 5 recipes from you. My request is to give me the quantities for this cake in grams. it is very difficult for me to transform the quantities from the units used in America to those in Europe. I beg you ! Congratulations on everything you do and thank you for making such a beautiful presentation. I adore you . Thank you very much! β™₯ ️πŸ₯° πŸ€—

  5. That is my favorite cake also! Grandma made it when I was little. After she died, I asked my Aunt for the recipe. She replied β€œBetty Crocker”! She hid the box!
