  1. I tried a number of vegan cheeses and find all of them simply aweful. Some things cannot be replaced with tofu, soy milk etc. The main item is: cheese. I eat almost totally vegetarian but some real cheese I shall not give up. I tried – it just did not taste good at all.

  2. These look great! Really too bad the phytoestrogen in soy gets such a bad rap while the actual estrogen in dairy, which increases cancer risk, gets ignored. Thanks for sharing

  3. I don:t like the taste of dairy cheeses, but I tried the tofu nacho dip, needed more spiciness so I added curry powder and miso. Without the spices, it didn't really need to be cooked.

  6. I am allergic to multiple nuts. I have made several vegan cheese recipes and didn't like any of them because it didn't seem like any tasted like cheese. I also tried a vegan cheese without nuts and hated it so much I threw it out.. I finally added tofu into my cooking arena so when I searched and found your video, it gave me new hope today. Thanks.

  8. Dear Edgy, I'm working on cheddar. Getting close! It's a mash-up of your feta recipe, Chef Jana's, and Sauce Stache. Details to follow. I want it cheddar-y and melty but doesn't have to be stretchy.

  10. Have you made a vegan Reuben sandwich yet?? I just bought some pumpernickel bread and I was instantly reminded of Arbys Reuben sandwich that I miss SOOO much! So I’d be really great to have one veganized!
