  1. mushrooms have very strong earthy flavour and has nothing close to actual scallops. It's like me making vegan meat with actual meat.

    1. Cucumber caviar is nothing special, so i would just scratch that idea and put some soy sauce on top at least
    2. Aren't Scallops already vegan? I thought the whole idea of veganism is to eat non-animal product and not mimicking everything just beacuse you can
    3. i saw one comment that mushrooms would be better to be used as normal dish, which i agree. You just wasted one mushroom for your "scallop".

Vegans think if it looks like the actual dish it’s going to trick you. scallops are nothing like mushrooms in taste or texture, just make a mushroom based dish… Unless you concede vegan dishes are below par to actual dishes. Mushroom medley pasta is really good though, of course I use real cheese and cream but at least it wouldn’t be just an imitation of real food.
