I made this this evening and even though I couldn't get them into balls – it just wouldn't stick together – it's still delicious. Now I have a container full of delicious crumbles! What do you think I did wrong that it would not stick?

Instead of sugarcane jaggery, can coconut jaggery be used instead? The dark brown kind?
