  1. For vegan Worcestershire, next time youā€™re at the supermarket, take a look at the ingredient list of the store brand/generic Worcestershire. At my supermarket, the store brand doesnā€™t contain the anchovy that name brands like Lea & Perrinā€™s has. And if youā€™re on a budget, even better because Worcestershire that is labeled as vegan is a lot more expensive.

  2. What can I use instead of liquid smoke? I see it all the time but the taste leaves a chemical-ness in my mouth. Would smoked paprika work? I guess I could try it. If anyone has any tried & true ideas, I'd appreciate it. xo

  3. I like to add Kitchen Bouquet to make mine look more like steak. Itā€™s a browning sauce used mostly to darken gravies but works marvelously with soy curls. Give it a try. Love your content.

  4. Butler is the only brand of Soy Curls. They are not soy curds (that is what tofu is made from). They are whole soy beans that have been cooked (pressure cooked I think), shredded, and dehydrated.

  5. I just cooked this and it was FANTASTIC!!! My husband and I loved every bite! My husband said ā€œHey, you could make this and put it over rice, and make sure you make the ā€˜cilantro sauceā€™ tooā€ LOL. We were very pleased with it!
