  1. i cannot believe the taste of these falafels!! ever since my neighbor convinced me that the wraps she fed me didn't have meat, i opened my ears and eyes and shut my mouth to hear the correct ingredients…. chick peas, lentils, fava beans. unreal. I'll be eating these at least every other day for the rest of my life

  2. would have been nice if you had explained the quick version a bit better.
I did it that way and only had them in the hot water for maybe 35 minutes not an hour and they were aldente had plenty of tooth in the middle but once mixed up they completely disintegrated in the hot oil I assume as if I had used canned.
So I put in the freezer for 15 minutes then made little pucks like the falafel maker would do and put them in the air fryer and they came out a bit crumbly but good

  3. Since my last review I have made the "falafel expert's" favorite, garbanzo and fava, but I have to say, that I much prefer the garbanzo falavel. The taste is just better, at least for me.

  4. Expert or no expert if you want to make the best falafel try the one in Jordan and Palestine ask Mark Wiens , we add rocket leaves with the parsley onions garlic and coriander leaves also radish leaves cumin and coriander powder, the soda carbonate you put is too much it will not help with the frying and the taste

  5. I made your recipe today with garbanzo beans, because I didn't have any fava beans. Absolutely delicious, can't wait to make it with both garbanzo and fava beans. Thanks for the recipe and the Toum dressing

  6. I'm Cuban. The day I tasted falafels I went to heaven, had a greag conversation with Jehovah God & came back. Ever since I eat it every time I can..is unbelievable thd simplicity & deliciousness of this plate that can nurture us to the level of a super food! This is amazing! Thank you for the addition of the fava beans & sesame on top, you may drop them one side or both in sesame seeds, no one will complain because of that!

  7. I will tell you a small trick which make a huge difference when making Egyptian falafel. Before fry it, just chop one small onion and put it in the hot oil and let it fry tell it gets the dark brown colour, remove it from the pan and start frying the falafel.
